A star-studded line-up for the inaugural Zhara 2017 festival in Baku
What could be more fitting for a summer soirée than a music festival on the beach? That’s exactly what the Zhara 2017 festival organisers decided, so partygoers headed north of Baku to the Sea Breeze resort to groove the night away with famous Russian and Azerbaijani pop stars and personalities – including Alla Pugacheva, Maxim Galkin, Kristina Orbakaite, Philipp Kirkorov and Sofia Rotaru. Also performing was fan favourite Emin, who, along with Grigory Leps and Sergey Kozhevnikov (founder of Russia’s Golden Gramophone awards), was behind the new festival.
