    YARAT Contemporary Art Space presents a solo exhibition of Georgian artist Vajiko Chachkhiani. Presenting a newly commissioned body of work the show synthesises different media used by the artist in the past to create an immersive universe of Chachkhiani’s interest in radically tackling ideas of myth, tradition and heritage.

    Works of the French sculptor Mauro Korda will be showcased at the Heydar Aliyev Center. The exhibition, entitled "Zoospective and Morphospective" will include 40 art works with materials such as bronze, ceramics, metal, marble, revealing the inner world of man in different situations.

    The famous Israeli singer Shimon Sibony will perform for the first time in Baku at the Azerbaijan State Russian Drama Theater this March. The concert program will feature well-known works by Giovanni Capurro, Osvaldo Farres, Luciano Pavarotti, Enrico Caruso and many others. Tickets can be purchased at the theater and vendors in Baku.

    Giuseppe Verdi's opera "Aida" will be conducted by the People's Artist of Azerbaijan Yalchin Adigozalov. Honored Artist of Azerbaijan Afag Abbasova will play the role of Aida, while the role of Radames will be performed by People’s Artist of Ukraine Andrey Romanenko. The performance will feature leading soloists of the Opera and Ballet Theater, People's Artists of Azerbaijan Ali Asgarov, Akram Poladov, Gulnaz Ismayilova and honored artists Jahangir Gurbanov and Tural Agasiyev.

    An International Contest of Young Performers of Classical Music and Folklore, "World Harmony", will be held with the joint organization of the Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation of the CIS Member States, the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan, the Main Department of Culture of Baku and the Gara Garayev Central School of Arts.
