    YARAT Contemporary Art Space, for the first time presents an exhibition of works by leading Azerbaijani painters Mikayil Abdullayev, Rasim Babayev, Sattar Bahlulzade, Gennady Brijatyuk, Nadir Abdurahmanov, Kamal Ahmed, Ujal Hagverdiyev, Igor Zhuk, Javad Mirjavadov, Boyukagha Mirzazade, Ashraf Murad, Toghrul Narimanbekov, Nadir Gasimov, Eldar Gurban, Maral Rahmanzade, Altay Sadigzade, Ogtay Sadigzade, Tahir Salahov, Khalida Safarova, Mahmud Taghiyev, Taghi Taghiyev, Farhad Khalilov, Gayyur Yunus at the Museum of XX-XXI Century Azerbaijani Painting.

    A solo exhibition of Colombian-born, Norway-based artist Pedro Gomez-Egana is now on show at YARAT Contemporary Art Space. The exhibition, entitled Sleipnir, takes its cue from adventurer Thor Heyerdahl's contentious theory that the Norse god Odin was in fact a real person, who migrated to Scandinavia from Azerbaijan.

    The exhibition Melody of Strokes will feature more than 130 works by artist Sattar Bahlulzade, who is known as the founder of contemporary Azerbaijani landscape painting.

  • 18 December 2018Russian State Drama Theater, Baku

    This December, the St. Petersburg Opera Chamber Music Theater will perform for the first time in Baku. The concert program, entitled World Classic Masterpiece, will feature arias and duets from operas of Russian and international composers including Peter Tchaikovsky and Giuseppe Verdi.
